• Over the past 170 years, the farm has been renowned locally for producing maple syrup and its derived products, such as candies and maple cream.

In 2018, the farm was acquired by the Chen family from Vancouver, who invested 5 years in its redevelopment. The farm now features four modern buildings, state-of-the-art maple syrup production and winemaking equipment, and a 10-acre vineyard. The implementation of an automated pipeline network has transformed the traditional maple syrup collection process into a fully automated system. The product range has diversified from traditional single items to a variety of products with maple syrup as the main ingredient.

One of the most remarkable transformations is the winemaking process for maple syrup. After 5 years of experimentation and research, the Chen team successfully developed maple syrup sweet wine and highly distilled spirits. Combining the similar characteristics of maple and oak, they conducted research and development on maple barrels, achieving successful aging of wine in maple barrels. This introduced a new variety of maple syrup wine to the international winemaking scene and opened a new chapter for Canadian maple wine.
